Director, Cindy Smith 

Cindy Smith, FNP-BC, RN, MSN, CCD, is a family nurse practitioner with extensive experience in family practice and women’s health.  She is a native of West Virginia and a graduate of West Virginia University.   She and her award-winning practice have been featured on television and in several newspaper articles.  She is an accomplished lecturer having presented in both academic and community settings. 

Cindy is currently in her second year of a three year program for a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree.  Her doctoral work is in the field of Osteoporosis, and she has a pending publication in the peer-reviewed journal Orthopaedic Nursing on a systematic review of healthcare professional led Osteoporosis education.  She is a member of The Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International, and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
