What is
Interventional Pain Management?
Interventional pain management
involves a complete evaluation to determine if there is a treatable cause for
your pain. Our team will suggest pain management intervention(s) to treat your
pain. These interventions may consist of a combination of injections, physical
therapy, electrical stimulation, and psychological counseling for chronic pain.
Our
emphasis is on interventional pain management, to treat the cause of your pain
or its symptoms. However, when necessary, we will suggest a course of
interventional pain management which includes the use of medication.

Why Should I
See an Interventional Pain Specialist?
People experience pain for a
variety of reasons. Pain may result from injury, medical illness, or unresolved
pain following surgery. Your primary care doctor may suggest that you see a
pain specialist if:
-
Your current method of
pain treatment is not working
-
Your pain begins to worsen
through time
-
No specific cause for your
pain has been identified
Our
doctors will work together
with a team of Pars specialists to evaluate your condition. Our team of
specialists will develop and implement a pain treatment plan designed just for
you.
Additional Pars Professional Staff
In addition to our
physicians
and mid-level providers, our team consists of an electrophysiologist (Ph.D),
state certified radiologic technologists, LPN’s, an RN, Medical Assistants, and
